Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Jay Gnanachandran, trading as RavCorp ("RavCorp", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile games and related services, including Hangman Multiplayer Party (the "Game" or "App"). It applies to the App regardless of whether you download it from Google Play, the Apple App Store, or any other approved channel.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Who we are
RavCorp is an independent mobile game studio operated by Jay Gnanachandran as a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this Policy.
2. Who this Policy is for
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email above and we will delete it. See Section 10 for more on children's privacy.
3. What information we collect
3.1 Information you provide to us
- Account details — when you create an account: your email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text), and a display name / username.
- Sign-in identifiers — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and an opaque identifier from that provider. We do not receive your password.
- Profile content — chosen avatars, cosmetics, language preference, and other in-game profile settings.
- Communications — when you contact us for support or send feedback through the App, we receive the message you send and the contact details you provide.
- Social content — friend connections you make, clans you join, and any text you send through in-app social features.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Gameplay data — game results, progress, scores, achievements, multiplayer match outcomes, tournament/clan participation, in-app purchases, and feature usage. We use this to operate matchmaking, leaderboards, achievements, and to balance the game.
- Device and technical data — device model, operating system version, app version, language, approximate country (derived from device locale or IP), time zone, and identifiers required for the App to function (an internal user ID and, for guest play, an anonymous device-tied identifier).
- Diagnostic data — crash reports, error logs, and performance traces. These may include the internal user ID and limited device state to help us reproduce and fix issues.
- Advertising identifier — your mobile advertising ID (Apple's IDFA or the Android Advertising ID) is accessed only when you have given consent (where required by applicable law). It is used to show you ads and to measure advertising effectiveness. You can reset or restrict this identifier through your device settings at any time.
- Push notification token — if you allow push notifications, a token issued by your device's operating system is shared with our push provider so we can send the notifications.
3.3 Information we do not collect
We do not collect your precise GPS location, photos, videos, microphone audio, contacts, calendar, health or fitness data, financial account details (payment is handled by Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit — see Section 4), or web browsing history outside the App.
4. How we use your information
We process your personal information for the following purposes:

| To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance | Legitimate interests |
| To prevent cheating, abuse, and violations of our terms | Legitimate interests |

| To comply with our legal obligations (e.g. tax, fraud reporting) | Legal obligation |
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the App. We do not sell your personal information.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RavCorp, our users, or others.
6. International data transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on legal mechanisms such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only for as long as needed to:
- Comply with our legal and tax obligations (typically up to 7 years for purchase and financial records);
- Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements;
- Maintain anonymised aggregate analytics that no longer identify you.
If you delete your account (see Section 8), we will delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period unless we are legally required to keep it for longer.
8. Your rights
If you are located in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — ask us to delete your personal information.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your information.
- Objection — object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests.
- Portability — receive your information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on your consent, withdraw it at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
- Lodge a complaint — with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority in the EEA.
You can also delete your account directly from within the App (see Settings → Account). If you cannot reach that screen, email us at jayravi645@gmail.com and we will action your request without undue delay and, in any event, within one month.
Users in California, Brazil, and other jurisdictions with similar privacy laws have equivalent rights and can contact us using the details above.
9. Advertising, cookies, and tracking
The App uses Google AdMob (and, where active, mediation partners such as Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, and AppLovin) to show advertisements. Where required by law (including in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we use Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your consent choice from the in-app settings menu at any time.
If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised based on your advertising identifier.
You can reset or restrict your mobile advertising identifier through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads, then reset or delete the advertising ID.
The App does not use web cookies because it is a mobile application, not a website. However, our service providers may use functionally equivalent technologies inside their SDKs.
10. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents and guardians who believe their child has provided personal information to us should contact us at jayravi645@gmail.com.
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include using HTTPS for data in transit, encryption at rest on our backend provider, restricted access to production systems, and ongoing monitoring for security issues. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the App, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or by email. Please review the Policy periodically.
13. Contact us
